   died on 5 Aug 1832 of cholera at Princeton, Mercer Co., New Jersey, at age 36.

After his death Mary and children moved to newly created Calhoun Co, Michigan. Brother-n-law Green Wells (Clarendon constable) and brothers Barnes Kennedy (Clarendon constable) and John Kennedy (Eckford constable & highway overseer) also relocated at this time.
